Fethiye's Ancient Cities: From Tlos to Amyntas

In one day in Fethiye you can easily see the Amyntas rock tombs (in the town centre), the ancient city of Tlos and Kayaköy. For a longer day, the Kaunos rock tombs in Dalyan and tours combining Saklıkent with Tlos are a good fit.
The Amyntas rock tombs
Lycian tombs carved into the cliffs just above Fethiye town centre. You climb up by steps; the view over the bay is especially beautiful at sunset.
The ancient city of Tlos
One of Lycia's oldest settlements, Tlos sits on a high hill on the road to Saklıkent. You can see rock tombs, a theatre and the remains of baths. It's visited together with Saklıkent tours.
Kayaköy
An abandoned village of stone houses between Fethiye and Ölüdeniz. Walking among the hundreds of houses spread across the hillsides is a striking experience.
The Lycian Way
A long-distance walking route starting in Fethiye and running to Antalya. The Ölüdeniz – Faralya section is popular for short hikes.
