How the Pickup Works

The pickup follows a route that collects guests from several hotels, so the order depends on where the hotels are. On the jeep safari you're collected around 08:30, depending on your area, and we send you the exact time on WhatsApp the day before. At the end of the day you're dropped off at your hotel between 18:00 and 19:00. On the ATV safari, the pickup time depends on the session you choose (morning, midday or late afternoon) and is also sent the day before.

If Your Hotel Isn't Covered: What to Do

If you're staying outside the pickup areas, you have three options:

1. Get to a pickup area yourself: if you can reach Fethiye town centre or one of the other pickup areas, ask us on WhatsApp where you can be collected.

2. Ask about your address: send us your address on WhatsApp before booking, and we'll tell you what's possible.

3. Take a dolmuş or taxi into town: minibuses (dolmuş) link Göcek, Kayaköy and the villages around Fethiye with the town centre. Agree the pickup point in town with us in advance.

Tip: when you enter your hotel name in the booking form, use its full name as shown on Google Maps. Vague descriptions can cause mix-ups on the pickup list.

A typical day on Prime Turist's jeep safari includes these stops; the order can change from day to day:

Warning: if your phone or camera falls onto the wet rocks or into the water in Saklıkent Canyon, there's little chance of saving it. Don't bring valuable electronics without a waterproof bag.

Saklıkent Canyon is the heart of a Fethiye safari. One of the deepest canyons in Turkey, it runs for about 18 km and is as much a physical experience as a visual one.

• Gizlikent Waterfall: a short walk to a waterfall where you can cool off under the falling water.

• Yakapark: a break on the mountainside beside a rushing stream.

The whole route is done in 4x4 vehicles, and some stretches are dirt roads that ordinary cars couldn't manage.

Is It Suitable for Families with Children?

Booking Step by Step

Step 1: Choose the date and the number of people

You can book even if you're travelling alone. In July and August popular dates can fill up, so it's best to book a few days ahead. If you book without prepayment, remember to confirm on WhatsApp by 12:00 the day before the tour.

Step 2: Give your full hotel name and area

Write your hotel's full, correct name in the booking form. The pickup list is drawn up from this information, so instead of something vague like ‘near Ölüdeniz’, use the exact name on the hotel's sign.

Step 3: Tell us about special needs and restrictions

Let us know about the following in advance:

• Young children (0–5): they go free but get no meal or seat of their own; add them to your booking so we know they're coming.

• Vegetarian or vegan diet: let us know in advance.

• Motion sickness: the winding mountain roads go on for a long time.

• Walking difficulties, back or neck problems or pregnancy: tell us before booking; the jeep safari is not suitable during pregnancy.

Step 4: Payment and confirmation

With Prime Turist you can pay a 20% prepayment by card (we send you a secure payment link on WhatsApp) or by bank transfer and the rest on the tour day, or skip the prepayment and pay everything on the tour day. Step 5: On the day

Be ready at your hotel entrance a few minutes before your pickup time. The pickup collects guests from several hotels, so the convoy can't wait long for latecomers.

Weather cancellations are a special case. Saklıkent Canyon can be closed after heavy rain, when the water rises. If a tour is cancelled because of weather conditions or by us, you choose a new date or a full refund. Refunds are made within 14 days at the latest.
